La Comberintze invites you to discover the richness and authenticity of its cultural heritage.
Since its founding in 1947, Comberintze has established itself as a major player in the Valais folklore scene. A dance and music group, our association aims to study, develop and promote the folklore of our region, while ensuring the preservation of traditional culture.
Throughout the year, La Comberintze brings life to our village. Our weekly rehearsals are moments of sharing and conviviality, where dancers and musicians meet to perfect their art.
Over the decades, we have enriched our repertoire, explored new dances and music, as well as shared our passion at many local and international events, bringing a touch of tradition and joy!
I am proud to see how we combine Valais traditions with a touch of innovation, breathing a breath of fresh air into our folklore. Together, with passion, friendship and dynamism, we bring our heritage to life.

La Comberintze is distinguished by its intergenerational character, uniting enthusiasts of all ages around dance, music and traditional costumes.
This diversity creates a rich and precious exchange, where the young learn from the elders, and where traditions are transmitted with dynamism. The dances, punctuated by the catchy melodies, come to life under the shimmering colors of the costumes, witnesses of ancestral know-how.
I love wearing the costume, it’s like transforming into someone else! And then, with my friends, we learn new dances that are so cool. It’s so great to dance and have fun together, especially when we discover places we didn’t know before!

The Comberintze, a pillar of living tradition, does not just perpetuate the dances and music of yesteryear.
She is also involved in artistic creation, demonstrating her deep attachment to local history. The creation of new paintings representing legends and work in the vineyard is a perfect illustration of this approach. By combining tradition and creation, La Comberintze thus contributes to keeping Valais folklore alive and evolving.
